Toshiba is Playing Games with the Qosmio X305

A few years back I was looking for powerful gaming laptops only, to suit all my needs. Now I turn to smaller and smaller devices to get me working while on the go, but I sure miss the times when I had more time to play games. Toshiba on the other hand has plenty of times for playing games on their new Qosmio X305.
The X305 brings a fast processor, a 3GHz dual-core Intel CPU, with a breath taking 1GB NVIDIA GeForce GTX graphics chipset. There’s dual 7200RPM 200GB hard drives and up to 4GB of RAM if you want more speed. With the 17-inch 1680 x 1050 LCD display you’ll be able to play any game or watch any hot new movie download release. Oh and it comes in pink!
How much is it? Well the Toshiba Qosmio X305 will launch on July 14th so we’re still waiting for a leak for that particular detail.

Sad news…
This PC is supposed to be a BestBuy exclusive now, and they totally toned down the specs. It has the 9700M GTS, NOT the 9800M GTX Video; nor does it have the 3.0 GHz. It comes equipped now from what I’ve seen with a 2.0 GHz processor.
This Laptop has been advertised with the 9800gtx and 3ghz processor recently by Harvey Norman in New Zealand. The advertised model also comes with a 128 gb Solid state drive..However, the price was ridiculous at $7,000 NZ or about $5000 usd.
BestBuy had originally advertised the X305 with the 9800GTX at $2495 US, with a solid state drive.
I wonder if they’ll actually get some in? Their site changed at the beginning of August to just offering the 9700m graphics card and the 2.0 ghz processor.
