Back in June, Toshiba unveiled the first laptop with a 128G solid-state drive which is called R500-S5007V. More recently, a couple of days ago, another unit was added to the Protégé line, the A605 that costs close to $1,400.

In terms of performance, the 12-inch A605 sports an Intel Centrino 2 Duo processor, the SU9300 to be more specific. It has 3GB of RAM memory, a Serial ATA hard-drive with 250GB, and a Mobile Intel graphics 11 Media Accelerator. Sadly it has Windows Vista as the operative system,
