Toshiba Announces 512GB 2.5 Inch SSDBy Chris - 12/18/2008 8:48:42 PM |

Pretty soon every one of us will switch to SSD storage devices. It’s only a matter of time until HDDs will become obsolete. To prove that Toshiba has decided to announce its next SSD solution. It’s the 512GB, 2.5 Inch SSD which has just become the number 1 SSD when it comes to available memory space.
The new drive will get you a maximum sequential read speed of 240Mbps and a maximum sequential write speed of 200Mbps with AEW encryption. CES 2009 will be, of course, the place to spot them first and mass production will start sometime in April and by June you might get one.
