Digital Chocolate is bound to score another hit with the announcement that they will be launching Tornado Mania. The said game is now available at the Apple App Store.

Redesigned specifically for iPhone and iPod touch, Tornado Mania! leverages accelerometer technology to enable players to control the movements of a tornado by holding the device like a steering wheel. When users tilt the device, the tornado will spin counter-clockwise or clockwise accordingly. Players can also use the innovative Multi-Touch screen controls if they prefer.

These new control schemes take a proven gameplay experience and elevate it to a new level of visceral, intuitive fun. There’s also a feature that gives users the option to listen to their own iTunes music while playing the game and still hear the game’s sound effects.

Tornado Mania! is available for $4.99 from Apple’s App Store on iPhone and iPod touch. There is also a free version available that will provide a limited number of levels and modes.
