Tomato isn’t a good name for a gadget but that doesn’t matter much, because this Tomato T99 can be considered a 2-in-1 gadget.

The two functions that the Tomato T99 can perform are being a MP4 player, and being a Mini DVR thanks to its 1.3-megapixel camera. One of the cool features, and most probably the only interesting one, is the shadow-control that shuts down the camera when it doesn’t detect anyone. In other words, it is a good feature to save the battery life.

The internal memory has 2GB of space, but you can expand to 16GB thanks to a memory card slot.
