Owners of a BlackBerry can now use a TiVo application on the cellphone in order to set up the recording sessions of content from the TV. This application was released earlier today and its price is zero. In other words, this TiVo for BlackBerry application is free.

Unfortunately the application doesn’t include live streaming, but on the other hand subscribers can easily do a search and find more information related to the shows they want to record. On the technical side, the application must work with TiVo DVR Series 2 or 3, and the mobile device should be using the OS 4.2.0 and have the capability to browse. So, if you’ve got a BlackBerry and a TV show that you can’t miss – don’t want much further and use this fresh app.
