Time’s “Manhattan Project” could begin an era of digital magazinesBy Mark Rollins - 12/03/2009 5:33:22 PM |
Last summer, Time Magazine began work on a “Manhattan Project” that is a digital magazine that works like a net tablet. They have been letting members of the media try it out, but I am not one of them.
From what I am hearing, it works sort of like an e-reader and that you can flip through pages when you swipe with two fingers. There is also a navigation wheel for sharing stories on email, Twitter, or Facebook. This is still a concept designed by David Link at Wonderfactory, but one wonders if the same concept could be pulled off with some iPhone app or something.
I guess we’ll just see how this one develops.
