Thief steals iPhone, GPS-Tracking App catches himBy Mark Rollins - 07/22/2010 9:10:04 PM |
Imagine being at the subway station and having your iPhone stolen by a thief on a bicycle. That would ruin your day, wouldn’t it? Unless you had a live GPS-tracking app on it.
This is what happened to Jordan Sturm, who happened to be testing a product called Alert and Respond. The thief was caught in about ten minutes after calling the authorities and letting them know what’s up with their new device.
I suppose this couldn’t be a better advertisement for the product. Perhaps this Alert and Respond could be better than the Find my iPhone or iHound.
