Sporting News Baseball is the said app and is now available as well.

The evolution of the mobile phone in bringing emphasis on mobile news and updates has been around and with the Palm Pre just being recently released, the number of apps compatible with this gadget is slowly growing. The new apps are now available for free at the Pre’s on-device beta App Catalog.
