The Quick Pad Concept for One Handed UsersBy Brian - 02/01/2010 6:24:18 PM |
Here is a concept that should aid people who want to make use of only one hand or at least are limited to using one hand. The Quick Pad concept is a keyboard which incorporates 19 programmable buttons for use with a PC. It even features an on-screen interface and a predictive text shorthand system which should make it easier for users with disabilities.
Its chief feature is the comfortable hand rest which can be used as a physical point of reference for quick interchange between mouse and keypad. The Quick Pad was designed by Kyle Jarrat which won at the Student Design Awards.
