The Playstation Move Advertisment slams Wii, Project NatalBy Mark Rollins - 03/18/2010 1:46:00 PM |
What you see here is the Playstation Move’s first foray into advertising for the device itself. The man is Kevin Butler “VP of Realistic Movements”, and he is pretending that he is broadcasting from the future.
He briefly introduces the Move and slams on other gaming consoles. For example, he slams the Wii and its punching maneuvers by imitating the punching moves on Wii Boxing. I got to admit, he has a point. He then discusses the importance of buttons, because “who wants to use your hand as a gun?” This is a clear slam on Microsoft’s Project Natal. Once again, I will also admit that he has a point.
Still, is the mud-slinging worth it to sell your product? Time will tell who has the best motion controller, and I think that award will go to whoever has the best tech.
