The NanPlayer Becomes App Catalog’s First Rejected AppBy Brian - 09/10/2009 11:46:47 AM |
If you think the Apple App Store is taking all the heat for its controversial manner of approving submitted iPhone apps then guess again. Palm’s App Catalog made it first official app rejection by thumbing down the NaNplayer, a music player app.
Apparently the folks over at the App Catalog camp found some inconsistencies for the NaNplayer and this was traced to the undocumented use of a webOS API call. The said app was using the same API the built-in music player uses to index files so it could make playlists.
