Everything is being upgraded and getting more technical every day. I guess one day while walking in the rain, designer Sang-Kyun Park must have wondered what else he could invent and he came up with this umbrella that harnesses raindrops for electricity. And it effectively does that, well, except for keeping your dry in the rain.

I think the LightDrops idea is pretty cool, but why do you need a light umbrella? So that the raindrops know where to fall on to? It’s not like we only get our umbrellas out in the night!

Just try to picture the busy streets of London or NY at 10A.M on a typical rainy day when everybody is out there using the LightDrops umbrella. The people underneath the umbrellas will be probably wearing sunglasses. I wonder if that’s the point of it.
