It certainly isn’t the first recycling program for mobile phones. But with the number of recycled handsets expected to be gazillions more in the future, it sure is welcome. The Wireless Source has unveiled their new recycling program in CES 2008. The group has designed a variety of ways to dispose of not only handsets but mp3 players and PDAs as well which when taken collectively could exhibit 30-40% greater return than the competition. These methods inclue: on-line trade-in module, physical drop-off on selected sites and mail-back component.
