You might already be aware of the fact that O2 is the carrier currently selling Toshiba’s TG01 phone in Germany. What you might not know is that O2 decided to stop sales of the TG01 after a virus has been discovered in various units. Sure it’s an unfortunate event but it looks like O2 has dealt with the problem. The smartphone is available again from O2’s website which is a good sign. We’re interested to see if this virus thing is going to affect TG01 smartphones in other markets. As for German customers, you’ll be able to purchase your TG01 phone in the following days. How does that sound?

It’s Interesting that the Toshiba TG01 only has two buttons on the front - the home and the back buttons - and they look capacitative at that. The dial and hang-up buttons are implemented within the soft key area which is new in a WM device.
