Text messages from 2016By Mark Rollins - 01/04/2010 3:17:10 AM |
There has been many a report from cellular phone users that they have been receiving texts from six years in the future. Apparently, anything sent after 1/1/2010 was fair game for this bug, and those running Windows Mobile 6.1 and 6.5 were apparently the most affected. If you are experiencing this problem, there is supposedly a fix that you can download that is a .cab file.
However, my source doesn’t reveal if this fix actually works or not. Still, it leads me wondering what in the world will we be texting about in the year 2016. Since that is an election year, I’m sure it will be about who’s going to be in office. That’s also an Olympic year, too, right?
Feel free to leave a comment about what you think will be SMS subject matter for 2016.
