Telmap’s NAVTEQ iPhone app

Telmap is selling a new navigation system for the iPhone that uses NAVTEQ maps as well as MapQuest and Orange. It also has the other bells and whistles such as turn-by-turn guidance, in-car and pedestrian modes, as well as live traffic.

Of course, this Telmap comes at an awkward time since Google Android 2.0′s new free Navigation system. I mean, why would anyone pay for something that they can get for free?
