Telegent and Topstar Releases New Netbook and PC with Hybrid Free-to-Air TVBy Brian - 06/03/2009 3:34:21 PM |
Telegent Systems goes up a notch in its business services as they are scheduled to demo their first netbook and all-in-one PC carrying their marquee free-to-air TV. The products are scheduled to be unveiled at Computex in Taiwan, giving onlookers a first class glimpse on the latest technological offering using the said technology.
By embedding the hybrid TV feature, Topstar’s netbook and all-in-one PC designs improve PC TV usability and feature access while enabling the broadest coverage across both digital and analog broadcast networks. Topstar’s 18″ all-in-one PC is designed from inception for hybrid TV, with the entire system optimized to deliver industry-leading TV performance.
“The high performance, low power and small size of Telegent’s PC TV technology has for the first time enabled us to reliably embed high quality hybrid TV in our designs, simplifying the addition of this desirable but technologically complex feature,” said Mr. Xiaobo Wu, chief executive officer of Topstar. “This opens up new opportunities for Topstar to leverage the embedded TV feature to differentiate our product offerings and expand our reach into overseas markets.”
