Taiwan's HTC to launch iPhone rival

Everyone's busy these days - it's June, and people are finalizing their vacation plans. Then there is HTC, busy as a bee building an iPhone rival. The Taiwan-based smartphone maker will be bringing out its version of a touch-screen phone by the end 2007.
It would be interesting to see how the HTC touch phone stands its ground against the apparently daunting Apple iPhone. June 29 is pretty special because of the release in the US. I am trying to see if I can get hold of one somehow, let's see how it goes.
HTC is the world's largest manufacturer of devices, producing not only own-brand phones but building phones for other manufacturers.
