One of the popular things we see today is the use of Twitter. While many would share links or views, the feature of sharing video is now possible. All of this was made possible via the Twitvid.com app that is now in use, allowing Twitter users to upload and share videos to their heart’s content.

TwitVid.com users can automatically broadcast their videos and tweets to their Facebook, MySpace and YouTube profiles by simply setting their preferences on the TwitVid.com website via the new AutoShare feature.

It looks like Twitter users are going to be busy these days. And thanks to the interface that can be used via the iPhone 3G S, don’t be surprised to see a lot of videos being uploaded and share from here on.

    Here is how it works:

    1. Open the TwitVid.com app
    2. Select or Record a Video
    3. Insert a tweet
    4. Click Post and let your video upload
    5. People can start watching it within seconds

You can download the app via this link.

Musician are expected to benefit a lot from this new app available for the iPhone. iLike, the leading social music discovery service, today announced a suite of new features for musicians, including integration with Twitter, YouTube, and MySpace, as well as a turnkey system for any artist to quickly create and distribute their own custom iPhone app.

These integrations expand on iLike’s existing syndication model and enable more than 300,000 artists who use the iLike Artist Dashboard to save time and reach more fans via these new channels.

The new content syndication destinations announced today, described in detail at www.iLike.com/manage, include:

    • Twitter: Artists can now link their iLike and Twitter accounts, bringing their “tweets” to more fans via the iLike music feed, the artist’s iLike profile, and the artist’s page on Facebook. Likewise, when an artist posts a new song, video, or concert listing, iLike will notify fans via Twitter.
    • YouTube: Artists can now sync their YouTube channel and iLike account. Every video an artist posts to iLike will be automatically posted to their YouTube channel, and vice versa.
    • MySpace Concert Listings: iLike now lets artists enhance the concert listings on their MySpace pages, via a widget that adds prominent buy-links and allows fans to “RSVP” to a concert and see who else is going. Artists can also configure their iLike Artist Dashboard so that any blog, bulletin, or video they post at iLike is also posted on their MySpace page.
    • Facebook Pages “Music” Tab: Artists can now add the Music tab to their Page on Facebook. The Music tab, by iLike, features the artist’s songs, concerts, videos, bulletins, blogs, and tweets.
    • Artist dot-com Websites: The iLike Artist Dashboard now allows artists to manage the content on their own official dot-com websites via embeddable javaScript widgets.
    • Ticketmaster: Songs, photos, and videos posted to the iLike Dashboard will also appear on the artist’s page on Ticketmaster.
    • Artist iPhone Apps: iLike today announced a turnkey system to enable any artist to rapidly create and distribute their own iPhone app featuring the artist’s concert dates, photos, blogs, bulletins, and videos. A self-service system allows artists to customize the look and feel of their app and submit it to the iTunes App Store.

In addition, iLike continues to syndicate artist content to more than 45 million music fans across the iLike network, including iLike’s leading music applications on iGoogle, Facebook, hi5, Bebo, Orkut, and iLike plugins for iTunes and Windows Media Player.

    Palm Pre Gets Spotted

If Angelina Jolie has been playing with a Pre already we should only assume that others have done it too. We don’t know how many Pres got off the reservation but those lucky testers started speaking their mind and taking pictures. Here we have a Palm Pre in action and it looks like there’s some YouTube browsing going on in a related application. And as always there’s the possibility that someone’s imagination ran amok and what resulted from the process is this cleverly photoshopped image. You be the judge of it all.

  • Sprint Debuts Samsung S30

The Samsung S30 can now be purchased from Sprint at $450 but drops to $130 if the buyer would get it along with a two-year agreement and $100 mail-in rebate. This consumer-oriented smartphone offers a touchscreen, GPS, and wireless broadband.

The original Samsung Instinct was launched last year to be Sprint’s answer to the iPhone, but its marginal web browser hurt its ability to compete against Apple’s smartphone. The new s30 offers an improved web-browsing experience thanks to Opera Mini 4.2.

Sprint has tried to strike a balance between consumer and business functions. This model is able to synchronize with a Microsoft Exchange server for corporate email and calendar data, but also includes the popular games “Guitar Hero - World Tour” and “Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader,” access to Sprint TV and Sprint Music, and connections to social networking sites like Facebook, MySpace, and YouTube.

Samsung built multimedia support into this device, including an MP3 and video player and a microSD card slot for storing up to 16 GB of songs and movies. A 2.0 MPx camera with video support is also included.

After only two weeks of being introduced in the market, BOLT has amassed 150,000 subscribers. BOLT, the web browser for mobile phones of all types, surpassed 150,000 active users. Early feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, with beta users contributing valuable insights which have led to important updates.

The BOLT public beta was announced on Monday, February 16 from the floor of Mobile World Congress. Six days later the mobile browser was being enjoyed by more than 150,000 active users around the world.

Here is what some of the early users are saying about the BOLT beta:

  • “Even in beta the BOLT browser is better than Opera in every way.”
  • “Works phenomenally on my Bold; RIM could learn a thing or two from Bitstream.”
  • “Wow, I own an 8350i, and we cannot watch streaming videos or YouTube. But with the BOLT Browser it downloads it then plays the saved file. WOW! This is a miracle…Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!!”
  • “All I can say is DAMN! This thing is fast.”
  • “BOLT makes Opera Mini look like Netscape from 1997 on a dialup connection LOL.”
  • “Wow. I am VERY impressed. Running this on my 8330 on Verizon. It blows away the Blackberry Browser AND Opera mini in terms of rendering time. I cannot believe how much faster it is.”

I bet you weren’t expecting Windows Mobile 6.5 to arrive before MWC but it looks like it did. The video tour arrived on YouTube and it seems its running on HTC’s Touch HD. Are you ready to move from Windows Mobile 6.1 to the next level? We’ll be looking forward to see how the new interface works. There’s a new home screen and a honeycomb-like launcher. There’s also IE Mobile which we will probably replacing with Fennec and there’s portrait mode action. The video is not official so we’ll be waiting for Steve Ballmer to heavily sweat through the officially official Windows Mobile 6.5 presentation next week.

Want to have you speech delivered? Well simply win the elections and then get yourself a good speech writer and a good Internet collection. YouTube will do the rest. President-Elect Barack Obama has delivered its first weekly YouTube message. Unemployment insurance, Congress and people’s involvement in coping with the current economic reality are just some of the points of the three-minute speech.

YouTube is the smart way to go. Any president could use it to address its country and the world. Current smartphones can play YouTube videos. Which means that future smartphones will also be able to do it. And leaving presidential messages aside, we’re waiting for faster network to appear so we can make the most of YouTube and other similar video websites.

Do you have a phone with a really big touchscreen LCD? Do you have an unlimited data plan and some good 3G coverage? If you have mostly positive answers and you have a passion for TV shows then I’m sure you are going to appreciate the new YouTube service. Together with CBS it will offer full-length TV shows.

The full episodes will include non-skippable ads but I’m sure that’s not going to be a problem. CBS and YouTube will split the revenues and you will get the free shows. The only downside to all this is that the service will be available only in the USA for now.

Helio’s Ocean is making more waves. This time around, the MVNO (mobile virtual network operator) will unleash a YouTube application for mobile phones. One of the key features missing in the iPhone’s YouTube application is the ability to login using your credentials and view your own videos or leave comments. With the Helio application, you can do that and more. In fact, the Ocean lets you not only capture video but upload it to YouTube directly.

You can also geotag your videos, letting viewers know where the video was taken. Helio is owned by SKT and EarthLink.
