Microsoft seems really busy lately! The company is working on its Zune platform, getting ready to sell Windows 7, building Microsoft Stores and forming alliances with rival Nokia. So why shouldn’t it also prepare to launch Xbox Live on mobile phones?

It looks like Microsoft is looking for a LIVE Community Director, so if you got the skills to do it you should definitely apply. Your job will be to manage “LIVE community strategy and execution across a range of properties, from Xbox LIVE to Windows Mobile.” Well now that’s more than interesting! Are just witnessing the Live Anywhere concept?

And in case Microsoft hired you after you read our post, then by all means, leak some hot stuff our way!

Droplitz Coming to the iPhone Soon

There is a new game set to come for iPhones soon and it is Droplitz from Blitz Arcade. The same game has already debuted on such famous platforms as Xbox Live, Playstation and the PC.

Droplitz is a game about connecting dials to save the precious droplitz dripping from the top of the screen. If you create multiple paths at the same time, you earn score combos and generate more droplitz.

“Droplitz is such a favorite in the studio and we’re really excited that players are getting their hands on it finally. Reaction so far has been great and we just want everyone out there to enjoy it as much as we do. It’s great working with such a passionate and enthusiastic publisher as Atlus, who share our excitement about this game.”

No definite date has been announced on its availability or price for the iPhone or iPod Touch.

Zune HD Ready for Sale by Fall

Remember those Zune HD rumors from a while back ago? Well it looks like the device is really real. Microsoft has announced the Zune HD today and here’s what you can expect from it: 3.3-inch OLED capacitive touchscreen display, built-in HD radio and HD output. We could have some surprises when it comes to apps and games specially conceived for the Zune HD but we don’t have any precise details just yet.

We do know that the Xbox and Xbox Live will get Zune integration and the Zune marketplace will be filled with Live video resources. E3 should bring more information about the Zune HD’s capabilities and extra features. Microsoft is waiting for E3 to reveal more:

attendees will see first-hand how Zune integrates into Xbox LIVE creating a game-changing entertainment experience

By fall you should definitely be able to get the new Zune HD. Just in case you don’t want an iPod instead.

The game has also, in recent years, been ported to the Sony Playstation, Sony Playstation 2, Nintendo GameCube, and Microsoft Xbox as part of Mega Man Anniversary Collection, other mobile phones in 2007, and the Wii’s Virtual Console. Mega Man 9 was recently released on the Playstation Network, Xbox Live Arcade, and Wii Virtual Console.

So how’s your Xbox game doing? Ready for some rumors about your favorite console platform? According to leaked Circuit City ad, a 60GB Xbox Live Starter Pack is about to arrive on American soil next week. The whole ensemble will cost just $99 which is not bad at all. The Pack includes three months of free Live Gold access, a wired headset and a 60GB hard drive. We’d like to confirm the rumor sometime next week, so Microsoft please make our wish come true! On second opinion, you can always cut some more of that price if you want!
