Wireless Power Consortium creates Q1 wireless power standard

The Wireless Power Consortium set a Qi interoperability standard. What does that mean? It means that a new standard of wireless charging. It is limited to device requiring more than 5 Watts. So, I guess we are looking at a universal Powermat or MyGrid for mobiles. Source
