Here’s something nobody expected from Windows 7. It looks like the new Microsoft OS and the iPhone don’t really like each other. There are various syncing issues already reported but Microsoft is not to blame this time. At fault seems to be Intel’s P55 Express chipset and its USB controller. People say that the iPhone gets recognized but syncing is not possible. We’ll be waiting for an official stance on the matter and the parties involved should better find a fix for it. The iPhone is the best sold phone so far and Windows 7 is already very popular. Naturally there are quite a lot of iPhone owners out there that will be using Windows 7 soon. And let’s not forget that Apple is getting ready to ship iMacs packing Intel Core i5 and i7 processors in November. Cupertino would hate to see similar syncing problems occur especially between iMacs and iPhones. So what do you say Intel? Is a fix coming soon?

There’s no such thing as a Windows computer is it? Let alone a Microsoft made laptop! We would have surely heard about its existence already since most gadgets out there get leaked long before being officially unveiled.
However 30 Rock is clearly showing the device in question and the Windows logo is definitely recognizable. So what happened to all the Apple products on the show? Is 30 Rock celebrating the release of Windows 7 too? Whatever the case is, the computer in the picture here is definitely not a Mac wearing a Windows Logo.
What do you think? Will we see Steve Ballmer announce Microsoft computers soon?

Did you hear the good news folks? Kindle for PC is a new software headed to your future Windows 7 device. That means you won’t have to purchase the Kindle in order to enjoy eBooks titles. And forget about the Nook too! Instead you can save some money and get yourself one of those new netbook-like tablets. Besides Apple and Microsoft other manufacturers will launch tablets which can act very well as eBook readers thanks to this Kindle for PC solution. The software is in beta right now and you can sign up for it already. Barnes & Noble should be really annoyed right now. This Kindle for PC will surely translate into less Nook sales in the foreseeable future.

Luckily Apple has told us that official support for Windows 7 using Boot Camp is coming before the end of the year when an update for the software will be pushed out.
But wait, if you have a Mac, that means you hate Windows, right?

We’re already used to see Apple set trends in various areas so we’re not exactly surprised to see this MacBook-like laptop in the picture here. The iiView A2 is naturally not a machine invented by Cupertino minds but it’s still an interesting PC. This Windows 7 monster will come with an Intel Atom N270 1.6GHz processor, 2GB of DDR2 RAM, 320GB hard drive, a 12.1-inch display, 802.11 a/b/g/n WiFi and HDMI connectivity. The netbook will be available on October 22, as soon as Windows 7 gets released and it will cost you just $399. What do you think? Are you ready for a MacBook-like iiView A2?

The worldwide economic crisis is not over yet so I am not surprised at all to see a family guy trying to sell Windows 7 for a living. But I am surprised to see the Family Guy selling Microsoft’s latest OS. Seth MacFarlane and Co will dedicate a full episode to Windows 7. The special feature will air on November 8 and it will be completely free of any commercials. Well the episode is a 30-minute long commercial itself but it might be funny.
Apple on the other hand will launch some new “Get a Mac” videos soon and they will take hit after hit after hit at Windows 7. But Windows 7 looks stable so far, so maybe Apple should consider cutting Microsoft some slack at least this once! What do you guys think?

Acer is finally ready to send the first Android netbook your way. The Aspire One D250 is available for Pre-order on Amazon and it will cost you $349 to get it. The netbook will offer you both Android and Windows XP under the hood so you’ll be able to choose which OS is better suited for your needs. Don’t hurry up to get it just yet as Acer is bound to unveil another version of the D250 capable of running Windows 7. The Windows 7 version will be announced at some point next week in Japan after Microsoft will finally launch its latest OS. It would be very interesting to see a netbook coming with both Windows 7 and Android on board but that might not happen anytime soon.

Take a gander at this new Windows Phone ad that has been going around. Yes, it is disturbing to see gigantic humanoid versions of apps in this poor guy’s home, and I’m certain that if I saw those, I would run from my home screaming. The last thing I would be doing is holding up my Windows enabled Mobile phone and have them jubilantly come with me.
Yes, it is disturbing and confusing. Many have pointed out that there really isn’t a Windows phone, but a phone that supports Windows. The fact that it has the HTC Pure label on it is adding a little more confusion to the mix.

Windows 7 is still about 2 weeks away from hitting store shelves but that hasn’t stopped an unnamed university bookstore from selling it early.
Above is a picture sent to Engadget by a lucky student who was able to pick up Microsoft’s latest operating system ahead of release.
As for the rest of us, we’ll still be stuck waiting until October 22nd.

It looks like Microsoft is willing to leak as much info as possible about its future tablet. The Courier has been spotted again and it looks like the hot tablet is running Windows 7. We were certainly waiting for the Courier to run Windows 7. It’s not like Redmond has more OS ready to power up a tablet computer.
Microsoft is responsible for designing its own hardware just as it did with the Zune HD and the Xbox 360. The Courier will hit resellers sometime in mid 2010 which is probably when Apple’s future tablet will also be available in stores. Remember though that this is all based on speculation, rumors and leaked information. Microsoft will not comment on anything yet which is a clever move in order to keep us buzzing about the tablet.

It was just announced that all versions of Microsoft’s latest operating system, Windows 7, will be used by OEMs on Intel Atom powered netbook offerings. This comes to us as news after Microsoft lifted the ban they previously had on Windows 7 on such devices.
When the ban was in effect, only the Windows 7 Starter Edition was expected to be run on netbooks which had a 3-applications-running limit. Thankfully, Microsoft scrapped this idea and decided to allow manufactures, as said above, to use all of Windows 7’s versions.
