A few months ago we got our first glimpse of the white BlackBerry Bold but had no idea when we would be able to buy it or for what carrier. Well, it seems like AT&T will be the carrier getting the stylish device on October 18th.
Exactly how much will we be able to buy this for? Most likely right around the black Bold’s $199 price point.

It’s probably too late for RIM to launch these white smartphones right here. Instead of the Bold and the Curve 8520 you could very well choose a Bold 2 or a Storm 2. However the white versions will be also available at some point in the very near future. The white Bold 9000 will be available from AT&T starting October 18 while the white Curve 8520 should already be available in T-Mobile stores.
There are no prices available for the white Bold but the white Curve will cost $129.99 after a $170 instant discount and with a new contract. Anyone excited about this angelic BlackBerry smartphones?

In case color is important for you then you should know that Dell is ready to offer you both the Studio XPS 13 and 16 laptops in white. Dell has brought the color back after discontinuing it a while ago. If you’re ready to pay $40 for an “Arctic White High Gloss” hue then go ahead and order your new Dell Studio XPS laptop now. In case color is not that important then I’m sure you will be able to invest that extra $40 in something more useful.

After we’ve just seen a white BlackBerry Bold emerge from virtually nowhere, we have now spotted a different Bold on Bell’s inventory. This Bold however is a totally new one and it’s probably a lot cooler. While we don’t have that many details about the BlackBerry Bold 9700 we know that Bell is certainly getting ready to launch it. As you can see in the picture, the HSPA Bold 9700 is featured on Bell’s inventory but that doesn’t mean it’s coming in the very near future. The phone could be available only in a few months since Bell phones usually appear on inventory lists way before actually getting launched.

At this point in the mobile world, RIM’s BlackBerry Bold is so last year. The phone was launched in 2008 but since then RIM has announced lots of new Berries to play with. If you must insist with the Bold then take a second to consider a white version of it. Sure it’s the same phone under a differently colored hood, but it looks totally original. The Bold in the picture here was apparently sent by RIM to the York University in Canada where Telus and Wind happen to do some testing from time to time. We have no idea if and when a white BlackBerry Bold will be launched but we’re totally going to keep you updated.

We’ve seen the Android-powered Samsung Galaxy several times before but only in one color; black. However, it seems that our friends over at the unwired have gotten their hands on photographs of a white Samsung Galaxy in the flesh.
There is no word on North American availability of this handset but our source tells us that it is expected to drop O2 Germany first with other European carriers at a later date.

It would be weird for you not to buy a white G1 because T-Mobile doesn’t have it in white yet. If you want one just get it no matter the color. However those of you that insist on getting a white G1 will be able to do so after Thanksgiving. That’s when T-Mobile might release it. People say it’s a white paint problem, although nothing is confirmed yet.
