FON has recently announced that their Fonera 2.0n web applications 802.11n router is now available in the US for $99. The Fonera is by no means your conventional router but instead it’s what is described as a “computer with no screen” in the sense that you could control a ridiculous amount of different web applications such as Twitter, Facebook in addition to download torrents remotely.
But that’s not all, you can hook up a web cam, printer and just about everything else you think of to the Fonera and control them all remotely. Better yet, it’s open source!
Still confused? Hit the break for a video breakdown of the Fonera 2.0n router.

Geodesic unveiled the new Mundu IM - iPhone Edition, filling in a void of IM applications on the iPhone. The instant messenger client was on beta for a while, but now the Safari-optimized edition is now available for users. With Mundu IM, it is possible to chat with your friends on Yahoo, MSN, Google Talk and AIM. What’s more, it also lets you maintain simultaneous login to multiple IM services, and has the ability to search/remove contacts and custom status messages. Oh, yeah, and smileys too.
Note that this is not a native iPhone app - it runs on the Safari browser that ships with the iPhone. Nonetheless, an IM client on the phone is really useful, so give this one a try.
