All The Latest Cell Phone, Gadget and Tech News

A few months ago we saw the Sony Ericsson Twiggy Walkman phone get leaked and today we see it appear in pictures again. There’s no news about Twiggy’s future. People say the phone was cancelled so we definitely have to wait and see what the company has in mind regarding this Walkman phone. The phone comes with an unnecessary flip cover which lets you control the music. Well at least it lets you play and pause it when you like as there aren’t any other touch friendly buttons on it. The phone also sports a 3.2 camera worthy of your attention but other than that we have no specific info about the other features of the W350. So if the Twiggy is really cancelled, what other Walkman phones is Sony Ericsson working on?

Sony Ericsson Twiggy leaked

We have seen many a leak come from different sources, but this one is special.  Seems like Sony Ericsson has unwittingly revealed a new cell phone in their ad campaign promoting the MS500 wireless speaker and guess what it’s called? Another lady-like name just as the previous codenames we have heard for most unreleased Sony Ericsson handsets of course, and this one is called Twiggy.  We don’t have much to go on now except for an indication that the Twiggy is to be the successor for the already available W350 Walkman phone, but something tells us we’ll know more about it before the month is up and if that happens, MW will keep you posted.

The W530 clamshell phone in the picture here is not one of those new Motorola phones we’ve seen a few weeks ago. As a matter of fact there’s nothing interesting about this phone. The W530 is an entry-level phone which is going to be sold on the Chinese market. It will offer quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE radio, a 220 x 176 pixels internal screen, a 1.3 megapixel camera, an FM radio and only about 20MB of internal memory which is upgradeable via the microSD slot. We don’t know when the phone is coming or how much it will cost, but frankly we’re not that interested in it either!

Sony W350a Walkman for AT&T

Since not everybody would be vying for a piece of Apple cake from AT&T, the carrier has added one more mobile phone to its ever-growing portfolio of Walkman phones. This time, it’s the Sony Ericsson W350a, the Americanized version of the January-announced W350. Our jaded eyes fail to see anything special with this one as we could only find a 1.3-megapixel camera, FM radio, Bluetooth, and an M2 slot behind it’s controls-laden flap. AT&T seems to think so too and is willing to offer the phone for free with service. Available in enticing hues of ice blue, electric black, and white.
