Don’t get fooled folks, this LG phone is not the Viewty you are expecting,it is a very basic version. LG is certainly trying to capitalize on that Viewty name so you’d better be careful next time you’re considering getting a Viewty phone. You might end up getting a new LG Viewty GW300. The GW300 is a low-end handset which will come with very basic stuff on board. You can expect the GW300 to offer you a 2-megapixe camera, quadband EDGE connectivity, a QVGA display, a QWERTY keyboard and a very affordable price. The Viewty GW300 will be released in France and it will probably be available for free on new contracts.

Last week, the GC900, which we have now come to call as the LG Viewty Smart, made an appearance on the LG blog, which was later taken down. This time around, we bring you news straight from the horse’s mouth and have one more detail to add: a release date. According to the press release by LG recently, the 8mpx Viewty Smart cameraphone will start appearing through “operators in Europe” this May, but the article did not mention a price, so may be it’s up to the operators now to come out with their subsidized prices. In the meantime, enjoy a few beauty shots of the LG Viewty Smart on us after the break…

LG’s Viewty phone has been a real hit so LG has decided to create a second version of it. The GC900 is supposed to be follower of the first Viewy phone. It will come with a 3-inch touchscreen display which will boast an 800 x 480 resolution. An 8 megapixel camera is also on board and LG’s S-class 3D UI is there too. The rest of the specs will be similar to Viewty’s specs and the phone should arrive this Spring. It will probably hit South Korea first while other markets will offer it later.

When we said “Pink Beauty,” we’re not talking about popular South Korean actress Kim Tae Hee, the woman on the pic. We’re talking about that thing she’d holding on her hands — the new LG Viewty in pink. Aptly called the “Pink Beauty,” this candy-colored variation of the Viewty is available in South Korea starting today for approximately US$750. Like it? Until you decide to migrate to South Korea, you can eat your heart out. In the meantime, you can try the LG Viewty in Silver when it’s released.

We all know what the LG Viewty is, and many of us have been enamored by its beauty (pun intended) at one time or another. Now LG has presented its new version of the Viewty, the “Viewty in Silver” LG handset. If you’ve forgotten, the Viewty is a high-end camera phone with 5 megapixel Schneider-Kreuznach camera. It has a 3-inch touch screen display and video recording at 120 fps. For full specs, check this post out. LG has sold 550,000 in Europe since November of 2007, outperforming even the highly-popular Apple iPhone.

LG’s KU990, otherwise going by the more popular name of Viewty, just got a whole lot better. While other phones are still grappling with VGA resolution video recording, the Viewty one-ups it all with a new update providing video recording in DivX format at a whopping 120 frames per second and a resolution of 640×480 using its 5-megapixel camera. This would mean that the videos can be played directly on a big variety of DivX devices including DVD players and PMPs. The older Viewty models, which kicked the crap out of the iPhone in Europe, will get some sort of a software update while the newer ones will come with the function preloaded.
The Viewty is already available in most of the European countries. Go get one for around $518.

Now there’s an uphill task for LG: the Korean company is targeting 100 million mobile phones across the globe. Given the company’s recent successes with phones such as the Chocolate and the Prada, LG is planning to break into the 100-mil club. Samsung is already there, and of course, Nokia is at the top of the list.
Upcoming phones in the company’s warchest include the 5-megapixel LG Viewty and a slew of unnamed/unidentified phones that cross the FCC’s stringent tests.
Hopefully LG will have a good 2008 and beat out the likes of Sony Ericsson.

Another beauty from LG comes out in the open. The LG Viewty phone (LG-SH210/KH2100/LH2100) is a phone targeted at the Korea market. This has already been introduced to European countries in October 2007, and now has made inroads into its home market. Apparently, the name was chosen to signify viewing.
Boasting a 5 megapixel camera with autofocus and Schneider-Kreuznach lens, you can edit photos on the 3-inch touch screen using the handwriting features. If you are in Korea, you can also upload photos onto the LG Cyon homepage. The 3G model of the handset will be available through SKT, KTF and LGT carriers.
It is available in dark silver and black, carrying a price tag of KRW 737,000 (approx US $800).
