Last month, we had posted something about UDR releasing an apartment finder to help match seekers with available apartments via the iPhone. Now, Apartments.com releases their own iPhone app which is now available at the Apple App Store. Whether you are looking for an apartment across the street or across the country, renters can now use their iPhone or iPod touch to find a new place to live.

By delivering instant access to millions of apartments through location-based searches in a visually-enhanced media format including walk through videos, photos, floorplans and integrated mapping, the Apartments.com app puts the nation’s richest apartment content in the palm of the user’s hand.

Features:

  • The most comprehensive and vivid database of millions of apartments around the country
  • GPS technology for on-the-go renters looking for an apartment nearby, or location-based search options by city/state or zip code
  • Walkthrough video tours that bring apartments to life as if the user were touring the property in person
  • Professional photography and detailed floorplans
  • Integrated mapping by Google Maps
  • Phone and email contact information for apartment properties and communities
  • Saved search functionality providing renters with easy access to saved apartment searches
  • Customized searches that allow renters to search by number of bedrooms, bathrooms, rent, pet policies, parking and more!

The Apartments.com is now available for download over at the Apple App store.

Travelers with mobile phones can now experience an easier way of making the most of the places they travel to with the launch of this website that carries multimedia tours to help orient individuals on great spots to check out. The interface towards the website can be made using smart phones, cell phones, PDAs, mobile video players, and desk/laptops. All of these were made possible by Virtual Travel Tours.

“VTT provides personal, multi-media travel guided tours that fit in the palm of your hand,” said Marie Profant, President and Founder of VTT. “Travelers will no longer need to pack heavy guidebooks. They can experience everything a destination has to offer from the comfort of their lightweight personal mobile device.”

Pricing Structure:

  • $15.95 for audio/video tours
  • $12.95 for the “Quiet Guide” version (text+photos) to scroll as you stroll
  • $19.95 for a disc of all audio/video formats
