Without so much as a public announcement or any kind of promotion, Motorola is sneaking its new clamshell, the V9x, into AT&T stores. Similar in most aspects to the already available Motorola V9, the V9x drops mahogany for brooding black and carries over the same flip phone form factor that Motorola seems so fixated on since the RAZR’s sucess. The only major addition to the spec sheet is the GPS receiver which, coupled with AT&T’s Navigator service, provides turn-by-turn navigation support. Other than that, the V9x has two displays (internal and external), HSDPA support, a meager 2-megapixel camera, and a microSD slot. There’s still no information on when or for how much this will become available, but we are guessing it’s going to come out pretty soon!
