Ultrasound procedures gets a big gift from technology as Signostics announced FDA clearance for its portable ultrasound product. The new ultrasound device is the world’s smallest ultrasound which can be practically brought anywhere by physicians just like an ordinary stethoscope.
With this new advent, patients seeking proper diagnosis on issues surrounding pregnancy or abdominal problems no longer have to get in line for ultrasound tests. Doctors simply pull out the device and perform the ultrasound right there at the exam room!
The Signos delivers high-resolution images anywhere, at any time for general medical applications, including: abdominal assessments such as bladder, abdominal aortic aneurysm screening, and trauma assessment; musculoskeletal; and basic obstetrics, such as pregnancy viability and fetal positioning.
