We already knew about the pricing part and the fact that the HTC Pure is actually the Touch Diamond2 in AT&T garbs, but we lacked live pictures of the device. HTCpedia now confirms the price as $149.99 (with a new contract and a $50 mail-in rebate) with a contract-free price of $349.99, and have a couple of pictures showing the Pure wrapped in snap-on and silicone cases. The cases obscure most of its body but it is not that difficult to see a few tweaks in the design, like the rounded appearance of the upper and lower bezel, compared to Touch Diamond2’s straight-lined style. We still don’t have a release date for the HTC Pure, but keep coming back if you want to know.

AT&T has a few surprises for its subscribers. It looks like the company plans to launch brand new HTC and Garmin-Asus phones soon so we should definitely check them out.
AT&T will launch the HTC Touch Pro2 as the Tilt2 and the Touch Diamond2 as the Pure. The Tilt2 will cost $299.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate and with a 2-year contract while the Pure will cost $199 under the same circumstances. In case you’re not planning a new AT&T agreement then you can purchase the phones for the full price of $499.99 and $399.99, respectively.
The Garmin-Asus phone coming from AT&T is none other than the nuvifone G60. Believe it or not the phone is going to be sold soon for $299.99 after a $100 mail-in rebate and with a 2-year contract or for $549.99.
We don’t have any release dates just yet, which means you have plenty of time to think about your next AT&T phone.

Until Verizon will be able to launch the HTC Whitestone, the phone has to wait for the FCC to give its thumbs up. The Whitestone will most probably prove to be a Touch Diamond2 version sporting a 3.6-inch WVGA display, a 5-megapixel camera, CDMA and EV-DO connectivity and a lot more. You can read the FCC filing by following the link below, but wouldn’t you rather wait for Verizon to finally announce this hot HTC phone? Or have you already purchased your HTC Touch Diamond2 version?

HTC’s Touch Diamond2 has been announced for Europe and Malaysia with no word on a North American release.
Well, just like they have done with the Motorola Morrison, the FCC has given us a peak at the HTC Touch Diamond2 for North American release, reportedly codenamed “Warhawk”. As for a carrier, we’ll likely see this one pop up at AT&T at some point the future.
In terms of a price or date, the documents give us no word, but if previous reports are to be believed the device will be priced upwards of $550 before subsidies.

And here we were thinking that it could only take care of our business needs! Watch the video below, courtesy of MobileTechAddicts.

Europe and Taiwan must be rocking the latest HTC flagship cell phone already, now that April 2009 is almost done with us, but seems like HTC just can’t let the Touch Diamond2 hit the streets. We now have news that the high-end smartphone is ready to capture Malaysia too, according to a recent press release, and if HTC sticks to its words this time, Malaysians should be getting cosy with their Diamond2s by the middle of May 2009. The price falls in the same ballpark as the European and Taiwanese versions, going for about 2599 RM (roughly $722). We know you love your tech HTC, but can we have a go at it too?

Will Microsoft launch Windows Mobile 6.5 earlier then expected? How will that be possible with no device capable of running it? According to recent rumors the new Windows Mobile version will arrive on the first day of Tech Ed, May 11 despite the fact that the first phones ready to use are scheduled for a summer release. Therefore we should see the final Windows Mobile 6.5 demoed at Tech Ed, and who knows, maybe Microsoft will have it installed on those HTC Touch Pro2 and Touch Diamond2 too. Only a little over three weeks to go, but we will bring you all the hot details once we have them.

Keeping in line with the April release date in Europe, HTC has now announced that the Touch Diamond2 will land on Taiwanese soil around the same time in the second half of April 2009. We have gone over the specs many times now but for the unaware, the Touch Diamond2 is a followup to HTC’s hugely successful Touch Diamond and has a gorgeous 3.2-inch WVGA touchscreen display, a 5-megapixel camera, GPS receiver, WiFi, and runs Windows Mobile 6.1 with TouchFLO 3D UI on top. It is powered by a 528MHz Qualcomm processor aided by 512MB ROM and 288MB of RAM.
As of now, the HTC Touch Diamond2 will retail for a suggested price of NT$21,900 (approx. $647) when it appears in Taiwan later this month, which is similar to the rumored $640+ price tag for the European market.

HTC is ready for the Windows Mobile 6.5 future and it has announced new phones which will be able to run it when it gets out. These are the HTC Touch Pro2 and the HTC Touch Diamond2.
The HTC Touch Pro2 is the follower of the Touch Pro and it will be available early this summer. The phone will sport HTC’s TouchFLO 3D which will be integrated with Windows Mobile 6.1. The phone will feature a 3.6-inch widescreen VGA display and an impressive QWERTY keyboard. We’re also looking at better battery life, expendable memory, gravity, proximity and ambient light sensors.
The Touch Pro2 will come with HTC’s new Straight Talk technology which offers you an integrated email, voice and speakerphone experience. You will be able to move freely between email to single or multi-party conference calls at any given time. Straight Talk will offer you a high-fidelity voice and sound experience using features like asymmetric speakers and advanced noise reduction with full duplex acoustics.
We have no price for the new HTCs yet but we’re counting on carriers to reveal them soon.
