Four new game apps are scheduled to be released by the fourth quarter of the year, titles familiar under the Activision Publishing Inc. Most of these games are quite familiar in the modern day gaming industry particularly Guitar Hero 5 and Tony Hawk: RIDE. The other two new games made for the mobile phones are Blur and Crash Mutant.

“Activision titles have proven to be very successful on the mobile platform,” said Dave Anderson, head of business development at Activision Publishing, Inc. “Glu has demonstrated superior studio capabilities in addition to strong deployment and carrier relationships worldwide, and we look forward to continuing to work with their team to bring titles like these to mobile consumers worldwide.”

Already proven to be great draws in the other game consoles like PlayStation, expect these new games to be likewise a hit for Glu Mobile.

Starting today, Sidekick LX news and previews should surface from all over the internet. What’s so special about this Sidekick? Well it has been long rumored that the LX is going to be a Tony Hawk edition. And from what we can see in these pictures, if they are the real thing, it’s all true.

Although available to readers everywhere today, the LX is supposed to go on sale sometime in July. And apparently T-Mobile is going to make good use of that “skateboard look and feel” and the “grip-tape-texture” the Sidekick will offer. T-Mobile’s to be launched firmware is going to include video recording support, stereo Bluetooth and video sharing capability. Wonder if I can play any of the Tony Hawk games on it, after all it bears his name!
