AT&T has decided to come clean and officially launch the HTC Tilt 2 and the HTC Pure. The first Windows Mobile 6.5 phones available from AT&T will sell for $299 and $149.99 as long as you get a new two-year contract. As you already know, the HTC Pure has been available in AT&T stores since yesterday while the Tilt 2 will only arrive in the following weeks. Don’t hurry to grab the Pure yet! Remember that tomorrow Windows Mobile 6.5 will be officially unveiled and we’re going to see around 30 phones capable to run Microsoft’s new OS soon.

  • Go ahead and add this to the growing list of Windows phones that will be released on October 6th.  AT&Ters eagerly waiting for the Touch Pro2 should breathe a sigh of relief as BGR now has it on good authority that the device, called the Tilt 2 on AT&T, will be out the door on that much anticipated 6th day of October.  Yes, it is a bit late, seeing that the Pro2 is already available on Verizon, T-Mobile, and Sprint, but then AT&T subscribers will at least have Windows Mobile 6.5 out of the box, a kick in the teeth for the customers on other networks who will have to upgrade their devices to 6.5.

  • AT&T branded Touch Pro2 spotted

What you see above is the first ever live shot of an AT&T branded HTC Touch Pro2. We already knew that it would be hitting T-Mobile and Verizon but had no official word of an AT&T version, luckily said picture has given us proof.

There’s no word as to when this device will actually hit AT&T but our sources tell us that it could potentially be called the AT&T Tilt 2 once it is released for the carrier. We’ll keep you posted as more news regarding this device emerges.

  • AT&T Upcoming Handsets Revealed

Remember that Sprint leaked document we showed you yesterday? Well it looks like someone from AT&T decided to match Sprint’s leaking process and has therefore revealed some interesting handsets which are in the pre-launch phase. Among those we couldn’t help but notice the BlackBerry 9700, the HTC Tilt 2 and the Tilt 2 without a camera, that elusive Garmin Nuvifone G60, the HTC Pure aka Snap and plenty of others. Samsung phones, Pantech and Nokia phones are also coming soon, so if you’re rooting for AT&T then sit nicely and wait. Some amazing phones are heading your way.
