Here’s something for all our Harry Potter fans out there: A wand that actually does magic! Well, no, not really, but it does have some powers over your everyday gadgets that use infrared signals.  Simply called “The Wand,” the device can apparently control appliances like your TV or DVD player by using gestures like swishing, whirling, and flicking.  What makes this possible is an onboard integrated processor and an accelerometer, which enables it to learn up to 13 types of infrared controls.  The Wand also provides haptic confirmation of gestures and has a battery level indicator with a 60-second sleep mode.  Where do you get it?
