Are you an avid fan of the animated Star Wars flick, “Clone Wars”, that is normally seen over at Cartoon Network? Well if you are, you can get these comics from Dark Hose for your iPhone. These Star Wars releases are Dark Horse’s second foray into iPhone-formatted comics, following their “Terminator” miniseries from earlier this year.

Three distinct Star Wars titles are available:

  • Star Wars Empire: Betrayal (first 4 issue arc of the Empire series)
  • Star Wars Legacy: Broken (2 chapters)
  • Star Wars Clone Wars: Shipyards of Doom (full one-shot)

For sure a lot of you are eagerly awaiting the release of the Terminator: Salvation movie. Now while you may not be able to get some sneak peaks on what the plot of the story may be, perhaps you can read on them in this new digital comic book that is now available for the iPhone and iPod Touch.

This must-read multi-part graphic novel details a series of events that have transpired since Judgment Day and culminates with the story found in “Terminator Salvation” from Warner Bros. Pictures.

So if you are impatient and are aching to find out what to expect for this upcoming movie, maybe your iPhone can help you soothe that itch. The digital graphic novel is now available on the Apple App Store or $0.99 for each of five episodes or $3.99 for the full collection.

The trailer above shows us what the iPhone version of Gameloft’s Terminator: Salvation looks like. From what we can see the graphics look great and the gameplay is even more impressive considering that everything goes on a tiny phone. Sure an iPhone game will not be able to match the experience you’d have playing the same title on a PC or gaming console but this Terminator iPhone game promises a lot. We hear that Salvation is pretty complex and it will offer virtual access to lots of weapons and vehicles to get the job done.

For now we don’t have any prices and arrival dates but you can always check the App Store for it.

He’s not a Terminator, he is a soccer player, and a very good one. However David Beckham accepted to play the role of a Terminator in a Motorola commercial for its Aura phone.

The Aura is a $2,000 phone which has nothing to do with the whole Terminator idea. Given the price I am sure people won’t get the Aura especially during these harsh economic times. So why would Motorola throw away money on a campaign that isn’t likely to bring in high profits? Why not invest in R&D? They badly need a Pre-like phone to take them out of the hole their in.
