If you’re familiar with the European music service Spotify then you might like a future Spotify-based phone made by INQ. The phone should be launched by Telia as soon as Spotify and INQ finish building it. At this point there aren’t that many details about the future handset but things seem to check out. Both INQ and Spotify are backed by Li Ka-Shing, one of the wealthiest persons on Earth which also happens to be interested in mobile technology and social networking (he’s also one of Facebook’s well known investors.)
We will probably find out more about INQ’s future Spotify phone in the near future, but unless you live in Europe, it’s less likely that you’ll get a chance to be interested in it anytime soon.

The lack of MMS on the iPhone was one major disappointment. According to recent news, the MMS is certainly happening for iPhone users too. Telia customers might be the first ones to get a MMS application developed by Telia itself.
Independently from that Mobispine says that the application will be branded to each carrier and it will be distributed from the App Store. Is Apple OK with someone else providing a feature they should have included from the start? We’ll keep you updated on this
