When the first iPhone came out, consumers were generally stunned at the touchscreen’s ease of use which could be attributed to the fact that the device features a capacitive screen. However, while that ease of use was made possible, the use of a stylus was made impossible.
Luckily, RIM has recently filed a patent for a hybrid capacitive/resistive touchscreen that will allow users easy finger control while still being able to use a stylus. This means you will be able to write things on the screen with much greater accurarcy in a future BlackBerry model given this patent goes through.

The interface options for your iPhone may be common like others but some prefer the use of a Stylus. For that matter, the Pogo Stylus helps the iPhone experience by mimicking the electrical charge from one’s finger, allowing faster and more accurate operation.
“We are ecstatic that the folks at Amazon.com see the value our product adds to the mobile lifestyle.”
It is unblemished in an ultra-light aluminum body with an anodized finish and laser graphics.
There are four colors available for $14.95 (approx. Rs. 760) each. It seems to be an ideal peripheral for people, who have long nails, larger fingers and for those who wear gloves in cold weather!

Here is a mobile software that Blackberry users are going to want for sure. Rather than rely on the keyboard or stylus, a new kind of interface may soon be possible and it only entails the use of your finger. The software will be coming from a company called Diotek and will recognize English and Korean languages.
The company already has a relatively robust suite of handwriting recognition software for Windows Mobile devices, so it shouldn’t be too much of a stretch for it to parlay some of that expertise over to the Android platform.
No word on how much the app will cost or if anyone will buy it. It may very well be that Diotek launches this as a sort of proof of concept for Android in the hopes that people will snap it up on future devices that don’t feature keyboards.

Sony Ericsson’s Idou is a 12 megapixel camera phone which might make an impression once it arrives. The handset will be a great tool for both mobile entertainment and fast communication and it looks like Sony Ericsson has prepared a Stylus which seems destined to go with the handset. Sony Ericsson hasn’t made it clear if the stylus will be bundled with the Idou or if you will have to get it separately. But it’s good to know that we’ll have an alternative to our fingers to control this device.

I like the idea of a touch screen phone. It gives you more control and everything is more reachable. You can go through the menu faster and get things done more efficiently when you’re on the go.
I like the idea of the touch iPhone even more. But if I was to chose between using my fingers or using a stylus I’d choose a stylus. Sure I’d miss out on a few things only fingers can do but a stylus could be more precise.

As you can see from the picture this appears to be a valid pen/stylus. Only it isn’t one exactly. It’s a communication device, and that’s why we’re featuring it. Oh, and one more thing, it’s not a pen at all, it only looks like one but it can be used successfully as a stylus for your… future palm maybe?
