UK laptop buyers should check out Dell’s latest offer. Every £499 Inspiron 15 or £599 Studio 15 purchase will be bundled with a free round-trip flight to the USA or Europe. You won’t really get the destination choice of your dreams since there are some clear limitations. You can fly out from Heathrow or Gatwick only and the available destinations are New York, Boston, DC, Amsterdam, Berlin, Madrid, Lisbon and a few similar airports.

Just make sure you’re willing to fly somewhere else on a different date if your initial travel plans can come through:

The Booking Request Form entitles you, the bearer, to one return flight offer as specified, to one of the featured destinations. To obtain the flight you will be required to provide 3 alternative destinations and 3 alternative travel dates. Our booking agent will use all reasonable endeavors to meet your booking requests but this cannot be guaranteed and, in such circumstances, you will be offered an alternative.

What do you think about the deal? Doesn’t it look like you’re getting a free laptop with each round-trip flight?

Dell Studio 1555 Model Official?

We’ve seen Dell’s new Studio model, the 1555 on a Dell support page and now we have some features for it. Dell Singapore has made it a little more official as it has posted specs and pricing already. The 1555 will come with a 15.6-inch WLED 1366 x 768 screen, a 2.4 GHz P8600 Core 2 Duo, 3GB of RAM, a 250GB drive and a 512MB Radeon HD 4570 graphics card from ATI. All that will cost about $1,044 in Singapore. It will probably arrive in the U.S. soon and we’ll make sure you find out about it in time.

A new Dell Studio 15 laptop is available, the Studio 1555, and it has been leaked by Dell’s support site. Its support page includes drivers for ATI’s Mobility Radeon HD 4570 GPU. That means you will be able to choose between the current Studio 15 Intel 4500MHD or this ATI video card. No official information about the upgrade is available yet as the model hasn’t been launched officially. We’re waiting for Dell’s announcement of the new Studio 1555 for availability dates and pricing details.

Dell will continue its RED product line and the new models are the new Studio laptops which got some interesting designs. Dell’s Studio 15 line of laptops will get 3G data cards. Sounds familiar? Sure it does since those Inspiron 9 babies have the same option.

Studio 15 laptops will feature an integrated EVDO card. Service will be available from either Verizon or Sprint. The card itself will cost $150 but a 2-year subscription from Verizon will get you a $125 off that price. That’s the price to pay if you want to get 3G broadband when you’re mobile. Or you could always tether a certain phone to a certain laptop…

Dell Studio Hybrid Specs Available

We had no idea the Hybrids are coming that fast from Dell but the Texas-based computer manufacturer has already launched them. And there are plenty of specs available. If you don’t want an Eee Box or a Mini from Apple than you might consider buying a Dell. Not only does it look good, but it is also going to perform well for a rather cheap starting price.

A Studio Inspiron will certainly be one of my next laptops to play with. For whatever reason, I have always followed Dell and their progress in the notebook world. Sure for the same price I could always get a similar HP and half a Mac, but Dell is one of my favorites.

Dell Studio Line
I don’t know about you guys but when I think about my laptop I want it to be better and more efficient when it comes to doing all that work or entertainment. I don’t particularly want it to look better so others can admire it. Same thing goes for my desktop. They aren’t cars. I wouldn’t tune them up. But Dell sure is investing time and resources in their Studio Laptop line as for some people personalization is important. I am just hoping they are working under the hood as well.
