Rogers of Canada is planning on releasing Samsung’s latest Google Android handest, the Galaxy Spica. For those not familiar with the Spica, it has a 3.2 inch AMOLED touchscreen, a 3.2 megapixel camera, 200 MB of internal memory, Wi-Fi, GPS, and more.
In related news, Canada may soon offer paid applications from the Android market, and phones like the Spica could be something to usher in this age. The Spica should arrive from Rogers in a few weeks, but there is no word on price of the device or carrier rates.

Last month, the Samsung Galaxy Spica was spotted and was made available in Russia. Now the same Samsung Galaxy Spica I5700 has been made available in Europe, CIS and soon in the MEA region, providing a good choice for Android users and the ultimate mobile experience. It feature a 3.2” HVGA TFT display, a 3MP camera with autofocus, and 180MB of internal memory. Like most phones, it also makes use of a microSD slot which can be expanded up to 32GB, multimedia features for audio and video files and the usual Bluetooth connections.
