The title gives my surprise speaker pretty much away don’t you think? But the question is, is the sound coming from this Diamond Glass Tower, crystal clear. Here’s why the Niagara Waterfall Speakers cost just $53,000. For certain parts of the Waterfall Speakers, Niagara uses high quality Nappa leather hand stitched by a upholsterer in France. Other parts are made out of a solid aluminum block. The entire enclosure is made in 15mm thick Diamond Glass. The bottom panel houses a 21cm Atohm 18 cm ultra low frequency passive bass driver in a down firing position to extend bass frequencies.
Would you pay the $53,000 for a pair of speakers? At this price it’s a pretty hard decision to take especially with the current economical crisis.

There are already lots of mobile speaker systems, but one more won’t hurt, especially from the likes of Logitech. Solely aimed at Bluetooth-enabled cell phones, the Pure-Fi Mobile Speaker system works within the range of 33 feet and can be used with the A2DP profile available on most music-oriented phones. A2DP support also means that the system can double as a speakerphone, courtesy of two integrated microphones of which one is used to pick your voice up and the other is for noise cancellation. All this is made much more easier with the controls onboard for answering/ending calls, virtually eliminating the need for you to have your mobile by side. As for music, the Pure-Fi is equipped with 2-inch high-excursion drivers and 2-inch pressure drivers x2 to provide a smooth treble and articulate bass for any song that you fancy blasting out.
The Logitech Pure-Fi Mobile Speaker system is expected to land stateside in June with an approximate price tag of $149.99.

My first thought when I saw the Pyramat Laptop Sound Booster is that it’s nothing but a re-designed, re-named and glorified speakers. But it does have its unique charm — just imagine having speakers which could double as a laptop surface to prevent your lap from getting fried. Setting it up is cakewalk — just plug in the USB and connect it to your laptop and you have your mini home theater system with its two full-range speakers. The Pyramat Laptop Sound Booster doesn’t have its own power source. The laptop lends power to the device, a blue light indicating whether it is indeed connected. The Sound Booster could also be used as iPod speakers. The Pyramat Laptop Sound Booster retails for USD$90. Not too bad if you need speakers and you’re always on the go.

After a much anticipated wait, Bowers & Wilkins Zeppelin speakers will no be available for purchase. The creator of the world’s most advanced home theater and hifi loudspeaker systems has created a speaker made specifically for the iPod. Zeppelin is an integrated iPod speaker system from Bowers & Wilkins, makers of the speakers used to monitor the recording of much of the music on your iPod.
A full stereo system in one unit, Zeppelin releases all of the detail and atmosphere in your music. Compact enough to tuck under your arm, it can set you free, as well. Zeppelin allows you to have real hi-fi stereo sound wherever you need it: upstairs, downstairs, or perhaps in or second home. Or you might just need a simpler, smaller, and more stylish replacement for your traditional audio system.
Zeppelin rocks wherever you are, yet it’s simple to set up and use. Plug it in, place your iPod on the docking port, and hit the play button. You can vary the volume on Zeppelin itself, on its remote control, or on the iPod. And connections at the back let you play other sources through Zeppelin or channel images from your iPod to a TV.
Not only is the shape of Zeppelin pleasing to the eye, it’s also based on sound acoustic principles. One of the reasons tweeters are so small is that they disperse the tiny high-frequency waves over a wider area than larger drivers. What is less well known is that the size of the enclosure housing the tweeter also affects this dispersion and that’s why Zeppelin’s body narrows as the drivers get smaller.
