A new compact flip phone has been unveiled by Samsung Electronics in cooperation with Metro PCS Corp. The sleek, compact flip design of the Samsung Tint makes it both durable and fashionable. The Samsung Tint includes grey and pink faceplates as a standard accessory to help match the user’s style.

Additional faceplates are also available in various colors. This handset also features customizable wallpaper, banner themes and fonts to personalize the visual experience on the Samsung Tint.

The Samsung Tint is equipped with a powerful feature set, including an integrated camera, SMS, MMS, email and IM messaging capabilities, advanced voice recognition, Bluetooth wireless technology and speakerphone for easy, hands-free operation.

For immediate access to family and friends, the Samsung Tint offers ChatLINK℠ a push-to-talk social networking tool that works like a walkie-talkie. Users can simply push a button and talk without dialing to individuals or groups with compatible phones.

With the Samsung Tint, MetroPCS subscribers will be able to navigate the mobile Web, download ringtones and graphics and interact with social networks without having to use a laptop or PC.

MetroPCS’ plans for its wide variety of other phones range from $30 to $50 per month and allow subscribers to talk all they want, 24-hours-a-day, seven days a week. Unlike most carriers, MetroPCS does not require a signed contract, which means that consumers can activate service without going through a credit check or paying a deposit.

The Samsung Tint is available at all MetroPCS authorized dealers and company-owned retail locations. Visit MetroPCS’ website at www.metropcs.com for specific locations or to purchase the Samsung Tint and sign up for service plans.

You want an all-in-one device to listen to your music? Well, look no more. Check out the Jabra BT8030 Bluetooth Stereo Headphones, which, not only works as a cool headphone but can also function as a speaker.

Jabra fell in love with this concept through years of experience. Once you turn up the volume on your headphones, you can hear it as if its a speaker. So, Jabra came up with this idea where you can just turn on the speakerphone whenever you feel like doing so. But of course, when you’re on the move, you can use is as a headphone originally.

The speaker / headphone combo will also play music over Bluetooth, lasting up to 26 hours in music mode, 32 hours in talk mode, and sitting in standby for up to 25 days. It’ll retail for $249.99.

IOGear’s new Bluetooth hands-free car kit will hit the markets soon. The model, cryptically called the IOGear GBHFK211W6, lets you make/receive calls when driving, and also doubles up as a portable speakerphone for your home/office. The device claims superior noise cancellation in the form of Digital Echo Cancellation and Background Noise Reduction. If you have a Bluetooth enabled laptop, you can use it to make VoIP calls as well.

One of the nice things about the IOGear GBHFK211W6 is that it can be charged using a standard car charger or over USB. A class 2 Bluetooth device, it supports a range of about 30 feet (10m). If disconnected from a Bluetooth device for more than 30 minutes, the device shuts itself off to save battery.

The packaging includes the Bluetooth hands-free car kit, a USB charging cable, car charger, easy-to-plug-in Sun visor clip and two AAA rechargeable batteries, along with a user guide. Pairing is easy, use the usual “0000″ code with your Bluetooth mobile phone or compatible computer.

No word on the pricing yet.
