Whether the missed call you are getting is from someone you know or not will now be a thing of the past as WhitePages unveils LOOKUP which allows you to search over 600 million mobile and landline numbers via simple text message.

Having to deal with missed calls is something familiar to most of us. But the problem is, would we waste our time calling back that number, not knowing if it was indeed important or not? I don’t think so. What if that caller was a wrong number or perhaps a bait of sorts to stalk you or lead to something untoward? All that is now a thing of the past with this new app.

LOOKUP can be used either on a per use basis of $1.99 per match, or as a monthly subscription of $2.99 for unlimited matches.

PlayFirst works with a number of industry partners to distribute its games on mobile platforms including Glu Mobile with whom it has partnered since 2005.
