All The Latest Cell Phone, Gadget and Tech News

What you see above is a handset concept created by Seungkyun Woo and Junyi Heo which some handset manufacturer really needs to consider picking up.

As you can see, in its normal state it looks like a (somewhat) regular phone but when you’re not using it just wrap it around your wrist, watch style, and let the sun’s rays charge it. Sure, it may not be the hottest fashion statement on the block but it is definitely innovative and that’s exactly what this industry needs.

  • While many consumers are trying to figure out what phone to get, Sprint focuses on the accessories with a green tag to provide for the fashionable mobile device geeks of today. And among the new accessories released to the market today included a solar-powered charger and two carrying cases made from recycled plastic water bottles.

    SOLIO Mono Hybrid Charger
A mobile device owner will never know when his gadget will run out of battery. One of the things that they would need would be a handy charger. The SOLIO Mono Hybrid Charger should come in handy as it can generate power both from the sun or from an electrical socket, depending on which is easily available

The SOLIO charger includes a large internal Lithium-ion battery that can easily be recharged via included USB cable, AC Travel Charger, or solar energy and retails for $59.99.

    Nite Ize Sport Carrying Cases

To make sure that your phone is safe from potential harm like minor scratches or even dents, the Nite Ize Sport Carrying Case should be something useful. Other than being made from recycled materials, they also come in 2 colors and sizes. This retails at $19.99 over at the Sprint website.

    SOLiCharger for iPhones

For iPhone owners who want a reliable charger, the SOLiCharger is something you are going to like. Banking a lot on solar energy, this new charger helps ensure that your iPhones are running on sufficient battery power levels. Most chargers require you to plug in to an electric socket. But the only plugging in for the SOLiCharger is via the power input that most phones come with.

The SOLiCharger™ is the essential accessory for any iPhone or iTouch fanatic. This tiny, lightweight (just 1.4oz – 40 grams) Lithium-ion battery pack slips sleekly onto any iPhone to provide up to 50% full iPhone charge (enough for several hours of use). No cords or adapters to forget, lose or break: the SOLiCharger plugs directly into your iPhone.

Available in black or white, the price tag for this charger is $39.95
