It’s not the first update we see from Sprint in their attempt to correct data problems for their Samsung Instinct. We’ve heard various complaints regarding various aspects of the Instinct applications and they keep coming in despite any previous updates.

After improving Bluetooth audio volume, web browser, signal and battery indicators in the recent update, Sprint will be releasing individual updates for various applications. These updates will include Picture Mail, the web browser, Sprint TV and Radio, Sprint Navigation, Sprint Email, Sprint Music Store, Visual Voicemail and Mobile Sync.

Expect to see various notifications to update these apps in the near future as they will not come out all in one single package.

The iPhone 3G is far from the perfect handset we were expecting prior to June 9th. One of the most discussed problems is the reception issue. Apple can’t have a problem like that disturb their handset can they. Apparently they have been working on a solution and a firmware fix is supposed to be released sometime this September. No official announcement has been made yet and these are just rumors for now.

It’s official and now it’s available. The 2.0.1 firmware update from Apple has been released and it’s now going to show up when you go to iTunes from your iPhone.

The file is rather large at almost 250MB so lots of bugs should be already be fixed. Make sure you take your time and back up everything with you would mind losing if anything goes wrong. Backup is simple and easy with iTunes but it might take a while.

Let us know what you think about these upgrade. Hopefully most of the bugs have been killed of by now.

Good to know that Nokia hasn’t completely forgotten my N73. Along with trying to rear a viable killer of the iPhone, 3G or not, Nokia has outed an update for the N73. The 4.0812.4.x version will provide support for mobile TV when coupled with a SU-33W receiver and also support for Express Mail clients. Nokia Maps and Java will also see some improvements on updating to 4.0812.4.x. Time to fish out my data cable I guess.
