In what seems to be similar to the 24/7 technical support for most online websites we see today, InstantService Inc., releases the InstantMobile application, a chat and email management solution perfect for businesses who want to improve their customer service rendering. This latest software puts to good use the mobile devices as a medium for various matters, which can certainly bring down the usual telephone support costs.

The software can be customized to suit the ideal interface and usability that companies are looking for. InstantService offers chat clients for both smart phone browsers and custom-developed chat clients for specific devices.

The company has developed device native chat clients for the T-mobile G1 and Apple iPhone, and continues to develop the solution for other devices as requested.

These aren’t the first rumors regarding Dell introducing a new portable device but they sure are the first of their kind. The latest rumor coming to us from the Wall Street Journal suggests that Dell may be working on a touch-screen MID running none other than Google’s Android.

The device is said to be only a bit larger than current generation iPod Touchs along with featuring an ARM processor.

There’s no word on availability or pricing as we don’t even know if this exists yet. We’ll be sure to keep you updated. As for a Dell smartphone? There was no mention.

TEL3Dialer App for iPhone

People who need to make international calls but are wary of the costs of doing so can now use something that is less expensive. The app is the TEL3Dialer app for the iPhone, which allows any user to dial direct to the person they are calling at low rates and superior call quality.

Once a customer downloads TEL3Dialer on the App Store, users can expect a lot of savings while enjoying the flexibility and the convenience of their iPhone. With this application, they will be able to make International calls for pennies that will be debited from their prepaid TEL3 balance while using only regular domestic airtime with their existing wireless provider.

TEL3 is an International prepaid calling service that is available from any phone in the US and Canada. The Company last year introduced software for Blackberry and over 450 other smart phone models to enable its users to make direct International calls that will be charged again only with low rates of TEL3 instead of very expensive cell phone provider rates.

While many people are lining up to get the Palm Pre which will be made available to the public today, the next thing people are thinking about would be what apps to get for it when they do get their units. Apparently, new owners will be given limited options as far as third-party apps and games which should become a concern.

But while the App Catalog may be in the beta stages, there is an alternative place to get some stuff to your new Palm Pre. The site is Cellufun, one of the largest mobile virtual communities in the world where millions of people play dozens of different social games and connect with each other.

The Palm Pre’s web browser will support access to Cellufun’s games, mobile blogging applications and mobile commerce opportunities, making it one of the few non-Palm applications available to early adopters of this new smart phone.

    HP iPAQ Voice Messenger Smartphone

The HP iPAQ has been completely redesigned to produce a stylish mobile phone that is bound to get a lot of attention. The HP iPAQ Voice Messenger certainly looks the part.

It looks similar in stature to the RIM BlackBerry Pearl 8120 smart phone. Build quality feels solid, though the rear casing does squeak slightly when pressed and the glossy chrome finish on the rear is a fingerprint magnet.

The iPAQ Voice Messenger smartphone includes all the programs and features of Windows Mobile 6.1, including Excel, PowerPoint and Word Mobile applications, Windows Media Player, Google Maps and a range of PIM functions. It’s easy to configure for use with Microsoft Exchange, and you can also use standard POP3 and IMAP e-mail accounts, including Gmail and Yahoo! Mail. A suite of Windows Live applications includes Windows Live Messenger and Hotmail.

HP’s iPAQ Voice Messenger smartphone wins points for its looks, but not all of the design changes are welcomed. The optical controller is mediocre and the keypad is flat, making an otherwise competent handset frustrating to use.

  • Intel Intrudes Mobile Market

Make room for one more player in the mobile market. The new player is Intel which promises to unveil a new class of “Mobile Internet Services”. The chips are going to be based on a Linux software called “Moblin 2″ which will be in developers’ hands by March.

The move is seen as something risky for Intel and while many know how Intel takes pride in its business, it has to be better than the Iphone, Palm and the Google phones.

It is possible that Intel is planning to release a cut price smart phone which will knock the wind out of more expensive models which are only cheap due to supply deals.
