Sure, we’ve seen pictures of the Motorola Sholes before but they have all been blurry, too small, or just downright unpleasent to look at.

Today, BGR has gotten their hands on the above picture of the device and for once you can actually see all of its features. Of course, there isn’t much we don’t already know; it’s a slider, it’s shipping for Verizon Wireless and it runs Android.

We’ll keep you updated regarding a release date.

  • Samsung has a brand new phone for us but this one is not as impressive as some of the recent smartphones created by the company. The C5130 is a slider phone which lines perfectly with Samsung’s previous creations. The phone is rather an entry-level gadget which will probably be available for a more than decent price, if not free, with new contracts from different carriers.

The C5130 comes with quad-band GSM/EDGE and UMTS 3G connectivity, a 2-inch display, Bluetooth 2.0, a 1.3-megapixel camera, microSD support, FM radio and music player capabilities. As you can clearly see, the C5130 is decent handset but maybe you’re looking for something more than decent.

Meet the latest mobile “music” phone from Samsung Electronics, the Samsung M3310. The M3310 boasts of a dual slider form factor. For the front panel, just slide it up and you can make use of the keyboard. Also, if you move the slider down, you open the speakers that come with this new handset.

For features, the Samsung M3310 comes with a TFT display with QVGA resolution. It also comes with a 3.2 megapixel camera, music player, FM tuner, Bluetooth and 40MB of internal memory. There is a microSDHC card slot for people who will require larger storage capacities. There is no word yet on availability and pricing for the Samsung M3310 Music Phone.

  • What you see above is a recently released image of the Sony Ericsson Aino that comes to us as part of the device’s FCC filing. We’ve heard of this device once before, when Sony Ericsson first announced it, but at that time its release date was still a ways off.

Now, we still don’t have a release date but at least we know that a North American 3G version of the Aino is officially on its way. Couple that with the phone’s 3-inch touchscreen, slide out keypad, 8.1 megapixel camera and GPS and you have yourself a a none too shabby device.

What you see above is the first ever Open Market Handset compliant cellphone from Samsung entitled the Mpower 699.

Asyou can see, the phone is nothing special featuring a simple slide out keypad and other basic features but the real gem is the included U-RIM slot that allows for use on any Indian CDMA carrier and the fact that it retails for about $145.

Luckily, for those of you who don’t like the look of this particular handset, Samsung hopes to release an additional 5 Open Market Handset compliant phones in India by next year.

Verbatim has been known to provide us with an array of storage solutions. But now, it offers a new kind of storage in the form of flash drives. The new flash drives from Verbatim are the TUFF-CLIP USB drives which come in two storage capacities.

The 4GB TUFF-CLIP USB drives come in Turquoise while the 8GB TUFF-CLIP USB drives are in black. Both USB drives feature an ultra-rugged plastic enclosure with a retractable slider which protects the USB connector.

The drives come pre-loaded with password security software for Windows systems to protect sensitive data in a user-defined private zone. The 4GB USB drive is priced at US$29.99 while the 8GB USB drive costs US$49.99. Both are now available at Verbatim retailers and channels.

It seems that Vertu isn’t the only one targeting the extremely rich/extremely luxurious crowd as Motorola too has an offering: the Ivory E18, pictured above.

Before the development of the Ivory E18 was called off, it was said to feature a 3MP and a slider with 2 positions, one for just the navigation buttons and one for the full keypad.

As for a price, well, Motorola took a hint from Vertu there too as it was estimated to be close to $3,000. This high price caused with lack of carrier interest led to the phones demise. Does anyone actually buy these?

    LG Black Label BL42 pictured

It seems that hot on the heels of LG’s recently pictured BL40 is it’s brethren the BL42 slider. Pictured above is said handset which will also fall into LG’s Black Label series of devices.

Details haven’t been confirmed but reports say the device features a 240×320 resolution display, a 5MP display and a Java based operating system.

But honestly, who needs the BL42 when you can opt for the 4.1-inch touchscreen touting BL40? Well, maybe those on the budget assuming this phone is cheaper than the BL40. Either or, there was no mention of a price point or release date.

Despite the fact that the site isn’t in English, you can check out more pictures of the device, here.

The Helio in the picture here is a Helio slider phone which might or might not see the light of day. It is said it was made by Samsung based on the Samsung F400 and branded with B&O and Armani but we have no idea if Virgin or anyone else is going to pick this phone and launch it to the public.
