Don’t be surprised if more artist and singers get into the iPhone app act soon. A trend started out by Snoop Dogg and T-Pain looks like it has given other singers an idea of what to do next as Lil Jon has made an iPhone app for himself! Called the Lil Jon: The Official Soundboard, this iPhone app features 17 soundbites which allows fans to make use of his signature phrases like “What,” “Okay” and “Yeah” which were made popular by the Usher record of the same name and comedian Dave Chappelle’s skits. The app is now available at the iTunes app store for download.

Nokia and Orange have extended their business partnership and will be unveiling a new email service to the market. A co-branded solution in the Nokia Messaging by Orange, which will be available on a range of Orange Signature devices, aiming to bring mobile email to everyone with a phone, as well as working professionals.

First announced in February 2008, this three-year agreement was formed by Nokia and Orange to meet growing demand for multimedia on the mobile. It combines and integrates the best available services from both companies in the areas of music, games and maps across a range of Nokia devices. The successful alliance will expand the portfolio to eight countries and will include up to 30 Nokia devices in the Orange Signature range in 2009.

Launching first in the UK from this summer, followed by France and Spain, Orange customers will be able to take advantage of built-in push email on the forthcoming Nokia E75 and a range of Nokia devices.

Orange customers will be able to aggregate and manage multiple email accounts while on the move via the Orange homescreen. This service is easy to set up and enables people to directly access up to 10 personal email accounts, letting them read, send, forward and reply to emails, view subfolders, download and read attachments and attach files to emails directly on the Nokia device.

Orange and Nokia have agreed to launch Nokia Messaging in several major markets during 2009 with bundling, pricing and attractive tariffs announced locally across the Orange footprint.

Nokia has finally updated what stood as an icon for money and luxury until now with a few improvements that should have CEOs and fat-walleted friends that you know all excited. But 3G is not the only improvement this richboy toy is getting as WiFi is onboard too with a few changes in its outward design. We know specs don’t matter if you are fixated on buying it, but for us less mortals, the Vertu Signature has a QVGA OLED display of 320×240 pixels with 16 million colors, Bluetooth, WAP 2.0 browser, email support, and VoIP. It also has a SIM tray allowing for easy swapping between your work and personal SIM cards with support for WCDMA dual-band 2100/850 MHz and GSM quad-band 850/900/1800/1900 MHz frequencies. We don’t know when Nokia will decide to spit this out and for how much, but I for one will add this to my steadily growing list of cell phones I can’t afford.
