Toshiba has released two new laptop models that are already available on their online store. Satellite Pro L450 and L550 are the code names of the fresh units, and their price is $630 and $1,000 respectively.

The L450 is a 15.6-inch notebook while the L550 is bigger at 17.3-inches. In terms of specifications there are many similarities, such as the Intel Core 2 Duo processor, the GMA 4500MHD as the integrated graphics card, support up to 4GB of memory RAM, and WiFi, plus web cameras, and DVD burners. The differences between each model are the operative system: the Satellite Pro L450 runs Windows XP and Windows 7 Professional upgrade media. On the other hand, the Satellite Pro L550 is only preloaded with Windows 7.

Toshiba is extending its Satellite Pro laptop line with the addition of two more affordable notebooks, the S300 and S300M. Both of these new laptops have a bevy of features enough to gratify the average business user, although style is not something that Toshiba seems really inclined upon. The S300 and S300M are almost similar to each other except for the S300, which has a 15.4-inch display while the S300M settles for a 14.1 incher. The S300 can be customized to a varied choice of Intel Centrino 2 processors combined with up to 3GB of DDR2 RAM, a 5400 rpm 160GB HDD, Intel GMA 4500MHD graphics, WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, webcam, microphone, and a dual-layer DVD burner, powered by a 9-cell battery pack. The S300M follows the same suit except for the display difference we pointed out above, giving a much more portable option for users looking for something smaller.
