Mozilla Firefox 3.0 is available for download as promised for today. How long were you actually waiting for it? Do you want to help them get into the Guinness Book of Records? It’s really easy to do it. All you have to do is download it on your computer(s) today. You were going to try it anyway right?
We’ve seen a couple of trial clients before this official release and we have a pretty good idea of what this browser will be able to do. Basically it’s faster and safer. And it has a new face. Some people say Safari is way better but I tend to choose Firefox over Safari for now.
In a nutshell, here’s what the guys over at Mozilla say about how Firefox 3.0 was improved:

L870 is the next S60 Samsung phone. It will hit the European stores this August while the US customers will be able to get one later this year.
From what we can see from the picture the L870 is a stainless steel slide phone. It will feature a 2.4 inch QVGA, MP3 player with stereo Bluetooth, FM radio with RDS and a 3 megapixel camera. Although it’s definitely a S60 phone, the spec sheet says a “Safari” browser will be inside. That would be at least weird, wouldn’t it? L870 will have the S60 Webkit-based browser to begin with. After you buy it you’ll be able to do with it what you want.

Geodesic unveiled the new Mundu IM - iPhone Edition, filling in a void of IM applications on the iPhone. The instant messenger client was on beta for a while, but now the Safari-optimized edition is now available for users. With Mundu IM, it is possible to chat with your friends on Yahoo, MSN, Google Talk and AIM. What’s more, it also lets you maintain simultaneous login to multiple IM services, and has the ability to search/remove contacts and custom status messages. Oh, yeah, and smileys too.
Note that this is not a native iPhone app - it runs on the Safari browser that ships with the iPhone. Nonetheless, an IM client on the phone is really useful, so give this one a try.
