All The Latest Cell Phone, Gadget and Tech News

We’ve seen the Samsung S8000 a while ago and now we have some more specs for you. These features have been leaked from a Russian retailer’s website and now the whole world can get a better idea of the S8000 Cubic phone. And here are those features for you:

• Quad band GSM/GPRS/EDGE connectivity (850/900/1800/1900 MHz)
• Dual band UMTS connectivity (900/2100 MHz)
• Wi-Fi
• A-GPS
• Bluetooth 2.1
• Media player
• 3.5mm headset jack
• 5MP camera with autofocus
• 2GB of internal memory
• 1,100 mAh battery
• 108.9 x 53.5 x 11.9 mm

What do you think? Would you get a Cubic? Or would you rather get an LG Arena instead? The Cubic has a new TouchWiz UI which is similar to LT’s S-Class 3D UI.

The price has not been leaked yet but if the Russian site is getting ready to launch the Samsung phone, we should assume we’re going to find out more about the S8000 soon.

We first heard about the Samsung S8000 last month when it remained a rumor. Well, not much has been said about the phone since, until now that is.

KnowYourMobile is saying that leaked details were grabbed from the website of a Russian retailer shortly before being taken down.

The S8000 will have a 16 million color, 480×800 AMOLED touchscreen display, along with a 5MP camera, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and a 3.5MM headphone jack.

Other than that, we don’t know much so you’ll have to stick around while we uncover more details about this fabled phone.

The Samsung Ultra Touch S8300 is yet to see daylight but that’s not stopping the company from adding another cheaper member to the Ultra Touch family, the S8000.  The S8000 will see many downgrades compared to the S8300 and so become that much more inexpensive.  Not much is known about this new entrant other than what can be seen in the pictures and according to them, the camera is toned down to 5 megapixels from the S8300’s 8mpx lens and there is no hint of a sliding form factor, although the hexagonal navpad and the big answer/disconnect buttons.

Still, the S8000 Ultra Touch is just a rumor (with some pretty convincing pictures) and we will get you more news on it as it emerges.  Read on for a couple more pictures…
